Fair questions
Will lifting make me bulky and slow?
No. Building noticeable muscle mass requires eating and training for it, deliberately, for months. Runner-dose strength work — heavy, low-rep, twice a week — makes legs stiffer springs, not bigger ones. Studies on distance runners consistently show economy gains without meaningful weight gain.
I'm injured right now. Is this for me?
This plan is exercise guidance, not healthcare. If you're in acute pain, see a physician or physical therapist first — then use the injury settings here to train around a grumpy area that's already been assessed. The builder removes exercises that stress the area you select.
Only have 20 minutes and no equipment?
That works. Pick bodyweight-only and the builder selects from the 20 exercises that need no equipment. A $10 set of mini-bands unlocks about a third more options, but it's optional.
How is this different from Runna or my running app?
